MTH 254H: Honors Multivariable Calculus

Course description:

This is the honors version of MTH 234. This means that the course is more based on theory instead of applications. Proofs will be an important part of this course and we will carefully cover certain topics that MTH 234 glazes over.

  2. Classification of curves (pp. 88-112). You could try working through some of the examples yourself before looking at the solutions. Note that Newton/Talbot's presentation of the Newton Polygon is not exactly the same as the more modern one I presented in class.
