Mathematics offers a foundational framework for understanding the world. My studies in the physical sciences made this clear and inspired my specialization in applied partial differential equations. Methods from this field are relevant across a wide range of subjects, especially in sciences and engineering. My exploration of the world as a synthesis of mathematical paradigms continues at Michigan State University under the mentorship of Dr. Keith Promislow.
