7:00 p.m. - Opening and call to order (led by Patrol Leader) |

7:05 p.m. - Roll call and reading of the log (minutes) (led by Troop Scribe) |

ASM Gary Cunningham, SM John McCarthy, SPL Michael H., and PL Michael W. were present. |
|||||||
|
Nathan was also present. The SPL, in consultation with the Scoutmaster, appointed Nathan as Troop Scribe. |
|||||||
|
The minutes for the previous meeting on August 22, 2006 were read and accepted, with one correction made, deleting a sentence which belonged in the minutes for the PLC Meeting on July 25, 2006.. |

7:10 p.m. - Patrol Reports (given byPatrol Leader) |

|
Michael H. reported that the Burchfield Park Family Picnic on Saturday, September 9, 2006 went well. He said that there was lots of food, and that it would have been better if more families came to it. |
|||||||
|
Dr. McCarthy asked about the orientation for the Fall Popcorn Sale which Mrs. McCarthy gave at this picnic. Michael H. said that this orientation was helpful. |

|
Michael mentioned that the awards for Northwoods were handed out. Nate mentioned that not all the awards were handed out. Dr. McCarthy mentioned that he had obtained Nathan's Merit Badge, but did not have it with him at this meeting. Mr. Cunningham mentioned that Dr. McCarthy could bring it to the next troop meeting. |

Michael W. said that attendance was poor at the Recruitment Night on September 19, 2006. He added that the monkey bridge was not built for this event. |

7:31 p.m. - Big event/monthly outing planning (led by SPL) |
||||||||
|
The PLC discussed the Court of Honor scheduled for Tuesday, October 3, 2006. |
|||||||
|
The PLC agreed upon the script for this Court of Honor. |
|||||||
|
The PLC went on to discuss the Popcorn Site Sale scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2006. |
|||||||
|
Nate agreed to ask Mrs. Truelove to set up two site sales for this date; one at Family Video, the other at the Flap Jack Shack. |
|||||||
|
The PLC went on to discuss the Ojibwas District Fall Camporee scheduled for Friday-Sunday, October 13-15, 2006. |
|||||||
|
Michael W. stated that his family could bring a wheelbarrow and three or four rakes and shovels for the service project scheduled for this outing. |
|||||||
|
Dr. McCarthy said that he could bring some other rakes and shovels to this outing in his van, if we have any. |
|||||||
|
Michael H. mentioned that each Scout should bring the items listed on the flyer for this event to this outing. |
|||||||
|
Michael W. posted this flyer on the troop bulletin board. |
