The minutes for the previous meeting on September 27, 2005 were read and accepted. |
7:10 p.m. - Patrol Reports (given by
Patrol Leader) |

Jacob reported on the Court of Honor
on October 4, 2005. He mentioned that Xavier advanced to Tenderfoot, Aaron and Michael to Second Class,
and Jacob and Nathan to First Class. He added that Ethan earned the Personal Management merit badge. |
|
Jacob reported that Olivet Baptist Church gave Troop 272 our troop flag at
the Court of Honor. He added that Pastor Ed Owens of Olivet Baptist Church presented the flag to SPL Nathan. |
|
Jacob reported that Michael's father bought a card of thanks to present to Olivet Baptist Church
for their generous gift. He added that Michael brought this card to the Troop Meeting on October 11, 2005. The Scouts
signed this card and it has been given to Olivet. |
|
Jacob reported that the
Mawanjidiwin District Fall Camporee was
good. The theme was Cooking, Cooking, Cooking. The games were not that
good, except for the pancake flip. The entire troop was there except
for Aaron and Nathan. Six Webelos from Den 4 of Pack 640 were also
there. |
|
Jacob said that we need to have someone attend our
fires on outings. Dr. McCarthy suggested that the Patrol Duty Roster should give an explicit list of duties of each
duty on the roster, including fireman duties. Jacob mentioned that we also need to have the game
equipment prepared and ready to go for Interpatrol Activities at Troop Meetings. |

Jacob reported that Troop 272's flag retirement at the Fall Camporee went well.
He added that Ethan's bugle playing was great for the flag retirement and Sunday
morning's Reveille. |
7:30 p.m. - Old Business |

Nathan reported that he has made no progress on the Patrol Flag. |
|
Dr. McCarthy reported that Ethan has made no progress on the thank you card to GM. He added that
we are still waiting for the Troop Committee's decision regarding the purchasing of a troop trailer. |

- Saturday, November 19 - 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Mr. Walsh and Dr. McCarthy

The PLC agreed that Jacob and Nathan will stay at the McCarthy's home Saturday night.
Dr. McCarthy mentioned that the McCarthy's will provide breakfast on Saturday morning for Jacob and Nathan. |

a free camping night on property to which his family has access.
