PL Michael reported that the
car wash fundraiser at Wal-Mart on Friday,
June 24, 2005 was successful. He mentioned that one of the customers had
been very upset about someone from our group having used a plastic brush
to clean the finish of her car. |
|
SM John reported that Mrs. McCarthy had given
this customer a phone number where our troop could be reached if this woman
had any further complaints about this incident.
|
|
SM John also reported that the troop raised
$131.06 from this event; 40 percent of this ($52.42) went into the troop account;
the remaining 60 percent of this was divided up equally among the five participating
Scouts' personal accounts. Hence, $15. 73 was deposited in each of the personal accounts
of SPL Ethan, PL Michael, APL Nathan, Scout Xavier, and Webelos Scout Colin. |

SM John reported that we have not yet heard back from
Wal-Mart as to whether or not they will grant us either the donation or the matching
grant which we requested from them a few weeks ago. |
