The minutes for the previous meeting on December 21, 2004 were read
and accepted. |
| 7:10 p.m. - Patrol Reports (given by
Patrol Leaders) |

Rising Sun Patrol Leader Michael reported on the
Bertha Brock Outing. Michael said that the outing
was good, the lodging was warm, and the food was great. He mentioned that there
were lots of accidents, but said that he was sure that everyone would like to go again.

7:25 p.m. - Old business (led by SPL) |

There was a discussion regarding a trailer for our troop.
Nate suggested building upon our present trailer to make it an enclosed trailer.
He said that he might be able to get materials to do this. Dr. McCarthy encouraged
Nate to write up his ideas and submit them to the Troop Committee of Troop 272, asking them
for advice on how best to use the resources which we might be able to gather. |

Ethan encouraged our Scouts to register for this blitz soon, if they have not already done so. Nate indicated
that he had already registered and received information from Mr. Elliott about the blitz. Michael had not yet
registered. Dr. McCarthy said that he understood that Jacob had already registered, but was not sure whether or not
Aaron had registered yet. |

Dr. McCarthy reported that the Troop Committee has asked our Scouts to serve as the color guard for
this event and Michael Hannah to have a speaking role in the "Challenge Ceremony". Michael indicated that
he did not think that he would be able to attend this event. Dr. McCarthy mentioned that Aaron was planning
to attend and asked Nate to let him know as soon as possible whether he and Jacob would attend. |

The PLC then decided to replace the outing to Burchfield Park on February 26 with a:

Dr. McCarthy announced that Mrs. Zajac of Pack 640 has invited Troop 272
to Pack 640's Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. The banquet is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on
Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the 9th grade Campus - Cafeteria in Holt. Dr. McCarthy told
the Scouts to R.S.V.P to Mrs. Zajac by Thursday, January 27. |
