Rising Sun Patrol Leader Michael reported on the YMCA Swimming Outing.
At this outing:
- Aaron, Jacob, and Nathan completed Second Class 7b.
- Aaron, Jacob, Michael, and Nathan completed the demonstration part of Second Class 7c.
- Aaron, Jacob, and Nathan completed First Class 9b, c.

The PLC discussed the two options for an outing in January:

The PLC expressed a definite preference for the Bertha Brock outing, but some
concern about the potential cost of this outing. The Scoutmaster agreed to contact Scoutmaster Jim Kleiver
of Troop 33, the hosting troop for the Bertha Brock outing, to find out about the total cost per Scout for
this outing. |

The PLC decided that the following planning for the January outing would be done
during the troop meetings in January:
- January 4 : meals
- January 11 : equipment
- January 18 : activities
