The minutes for the previous meetings on September 28, 2004 were read
and accepted. |
| 7:10 p.m. - Patrol Reports (given by
Patrol Leaders) |

Murphy Patrol Leader Michael reported on SCOD FIVE, the Ojibwas
District Fall Camporee. Mrs. McCarthy and Ethan went grocery shopping with Michael for this
camporee. Nate and Jacob prepared chicken noodle soup. |

The Murphy Patrol approved a new patrol name, a patrol yell, and a
patrol flag:
- Patrol name: Rising Sun Patrol
- Patrol yell: Rising Sun - Light Our Way
- Patrol flag: a sun just rising over the horizon, with the patrol members' names on
its rays

The SM reported that the Webelos den of Pack 700 of Elliott
Elementary in Holt has accepted Troop 272's invitation to camp with us at Fenner
Nature Center on November 5-6, 2004. The den leader, Mrs. Barbara Oyer, and three Webelos
will be camping with us at this event on Friday night, November 5. |
| 7:40 p.m. - Big event/monthly outing planning (led by
SPL) |

The PLC planned the activities for November:
|

The PLC agreed that there will be no duties
for Friday dinner, which will be a picnic, with each participant
providing his own sack lunch. |
|
The PLC decided on the following responsibilities for providing
tents for this outing:
- Nate: 1 tent for Ethan and Michael
- Nate: 1 tent for Jacob and Nate
- Joe Walsh: 1 tent for Aaron and Joe (Aaron's father)
- Mr. Cunningham : 1 tent for Dr. McCarthy and Mr. Cunningham
- Barbara Oyer: 1 tent for Brandon and Barbara (Brandon's mother).
- Dr. McCarthy: 1 tent for Scott and Xavier

The PLC agreed that meals for this outing would be handled as follows:
- Aaron will cook cobbler for Friday evening's Cracker Barrel.
- Michael will prepare eggs in a bag for Saturday morning breakfast.
- Ethan will prepare lunch for Saturday.

The PLC agreed that the activities for this outing will focus on
camping and cooking skills. |
