The Preparation for the Troop Open House
was successful. The picnic table and the two A-frames for the monkey bridge
were finished at this event. |
| 7:25 p.m. - Old business (led by SPL) |

Assistant Scoutmaster Gary Cunningham reported that
the Council of Olivet Baptist Church agreed to transfer the charter for Troop 272 from Charlotte Christian Reformed Church to Olivet Baptist Church. Mr. Cunningham also reported that the transfer of Jon Cunningham's membership from
Troop 180 to Troop 272 is in progress. |

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Chris Cunningham reminded the Scoutmaster that Chris needs a letter from the Scoutmaster concerning his instruction on Skip-Bo for the Communications Merit Badge. |

The PLC decided that the Troop Open House on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with set-up for this event beginning at 4:30 p.m. on November 18, 2003. |

troop meetings for November. |

The PLC decided to work on the monkey bridge and skits for the Troop Open House at the meeting on November 4 and to finalize the agenda for the Troop Open House at the meeting on November 11. In order to focus on these concerns, the PLC decided to cancel the fundraiser scheduled for November. |

The Scoutmaster agreed to have Chris report on a Lansing City Council meeting which he attended for the Communications Merit
badge and write a letter for Chris about this work. |
|
Mr. Cunningham agreed to set up the firebuilding event for the Troop Open House (wood, stakes, and string).
Chris and Ethan agreed to set up tents for the Troop Open House ("What to Bring Scouting").
The PLC agreed to set up the monkey bridge at the Troop Open House under the lights on the northeast side of Olivet Baptist Church.
The PLC decided that outside activities at the Troop Open House would be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
Dr. McCarthy agreed to send out invitations to the Troop Open House to boys on a list prepared by Mrs. McCarthy.
