* Some pay periods may need to be submitted earlier if there is a university holiday that week.

** Turn in your timesheet BEFORE you leave for spring break!

·        Sign-in for each hour that you are in the MLC.  If your signature does not appear on the sign-in sheet, then you will be reported as absent and docked pay for the shift.

·        Hourly workers must also fill out a time sheet each time you come. Ta’s working overtime hours should only report only their overtime hours, not their regular ta hours.

·        Hourly tutors CANNOT get paid to work a ta shift. If you sub for a ta you must swap hours or work out compensation with that ta. You cannot get paid to work a ta shift! When volunteering to sub, make sure you know if that person is a ta or tutor. If you swap shifts all details of the swap must be reported on your timesheet.

·        If you sub for another hourly tutor, make sure you fill out the sub information on the timesheet.  If this is not properly filled out, you will not get paid.

·        Hourly workers must start and end their shifts on the standard schedule.  If you are late or leave early, both you and your sub claim only the portion of the shift you worked respectively.

·        Claiming hours for which you did not work is sufficient reason for termination of your employment.  Please be honest and accurate.

·        Failure to turn in your timesheet in on time may result in a loss of pay for that pay period.  Claiming hours for which you did not work is sufficient reason for termination of your employment.  Please be honest and accurate.

·        Make sure you include your wage on your timesheet.  If you do not know your wage, please contact the MLC director.

·        In an emergency, if you forget to pick up your timesheet and cannot get it before the mlc opens, you may print one out on-line in the mlc staff application.
