Schedule: According to Mr. Bassette, the schedule for this camporeewill follow the "standard format". I have put together a tentative schedule based upon this information.

The camporee will assemble at my home at 6:15 p.m. on Friday evening. Fridayevening will be devoted to setting up camp at Camp Kiwanis. Iexpect that there will be a Crackerbarrel on Friday evening for Camporee Staff,Scoutmasters and Senior Patrol Leaders to discuss plans for the weekend. Laterthat evening, after this Crackerbarrel, the Senior Patrol Leaders should conductPatrol Leaders' Council Meetings in their campsites to discuss plans for theweekend. Each of the Patrol Leaders will then be responsible to communicate theappropriate information to their patrols.

The events of Saturday morning, after breakfast, and Saturday morning, afterlunch, will be devoted to working on completing requirements for the First Aid Merit Badge.According to Mr. Bassette, their are two aspects of the First Aid Merit Badge whichwill not be covered at this camporee:

According to Mr. Bassette, a Scout who has completed these two aspects beforethe Camporee, should be able to complete the First Aid Merit Badge atthe Camporee.

Note: The FirstAid Merit Badge is an Eagle Required Merit Badge. Every Scout must completethe First Aid MeritBadge in order to reach the rank of EagleScout. There are no options for the First Aid Merit Badge.

On Saturday evening, there will be 2 campfires. Mr. Bassette says that theyare not planning for the campfire bowl at Camp Kiwanis to accomodate all thetroops which they are expecting for this "council-wide" camporee. MawanjidiwinDistrict is helping Migisins District host this camporee. They plan to split upthe troops for this camporee into two campfires.

Sunday morning will be devoted to breaking down camp, after breakfast andmorning devotions. We expect to be able to depart for home by noon.
