Scouts Canada Who Can Enjoy CEDARWIN? ...
Anyone! Whether you belong to a school or church group, a private company or corporation, a non-profit agency, or government agency - Cedarwin is open to everyone in addition to Scouting, Guiding and Youth Groups.
What Could You Do At CEDARWIN? ...
How about holding your staff seminar or retreat at Cedarwin instead of a hall or hotel? Why not bring your volunteers or members out for a day outing or overnight retreat? The possibilities are endless, and yes, most definitely different!
You can support the youth of our community, both members and non-members of Scouting, by providing assistance to our projects at Camp Cedarwin which will support our environment and benefit our entire community!
We need your financial support and your expertise. Whether you choose to support Scouts Canada's Camp Cedarwin through a personal or corporate donation, or through a "gift in kind" , all donations will receive appropriate recognition. Most importantly, your generosity will help to make Scouts Canada's Camp Cedarwin an experience to remember, while at the same time assisting the youth of our community for many years to come!
What Facilities Are Available? ...
Propellor Building - This very unique facility with three dormitory wings is capable of accomodating up to twenty four youth or adults in each wing. A complete kitchen and a multi-purpose meeting / dining area is attached to each dormitory wing such that up to three groups can use this unique building at the same time. The hub in the center contains washroom facilities and the facilities are handicapper accessible.
Peach Lodge - This building is used as a craft area, multi-purpose or small meeting area (30 people). It contains a washroom and shower facility.

Humber Hut - A facility with bunks to accomodate 9 persons in the remote wilderness located near the babbling creek. Excellent facility to get back to nature.
Cedar Creek - Being on the banks of this environmental treasure offers a special place to study a variety of wildlife and plant life. There is access through to Lake Erie by canoe, an interesting trip indeed. The use of our access to this creek presents a lot of interesting possibilities to the users.
Nature Trails - Trails winding through one of Essex County's most unique forests highlighted with some of the areas greatest natural treasures. A special place to study nature or just take a nice walk in the wilderness.
