Job description: The Venture patrol leader is the
elected leader of his Venture patrol. He represents his patrol on the
patrol leaders' council. |
Reports to: the assistant Scoutmaster/Venture. |
Patrol leader duties: |
- Provides leadership for the selected high-adventure activities or sports
- Keeps Venture patrol members informed
- Represents the Venture patrol at patrol leaders' council meetings
- Encourages Venture patrol members to take part in all troop activities
- Locates and secures resources necessary for the Venture patrol activities
- Develops Venture patrol spirit and control
- Works with other troop leaders to make the troop run well
- Sets the example
- Wears the uniform correctly
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law
- Shows Scout spirit
