The minutes for the previous meeting on March 22, 2005 were read and accepted. |
| 7:10 p.m. - Patrol Reports (given by
Patrol Leaders) |

Rising Sun Patrol Leader Michael reported that no one advanced a rank at the Court of Honor
on April 5, 2005; the Flyer Distribution on April 12, 2005 was cold,
but we got the work done; and we collected 179 pounds of food at the
Scouting for Food Drive on April 16, 2005. |
|
Michael asked Assistant Patrol Leader Nathan to report on the outing to
Yankee Springs on April 1-3, 2005. Nathan reported
that this outing was successful. Others commented that they would not have missed
this outing for the world, that we probably will never have such a great outing ever again,
and that it was really, really fun. |

The Scoutmaster reported that Mr. Rick Todd had assigned Troop 272 our first
choice of country to represent at the Mawanjidiwin Spring Camporee,
Ireland. |
|
The PLC decided not to invite Webelos Scouts to the
Mawanjidiwin Spring Camporee. Nate said that
he thought that we would be too busy to entertain these scouts. The PLC agreed with
Nate's judgement on this issue. |

The Scoutmaster agreed to ask Mr. Todd:
- whether we could be assigned an area about 180 meters by 30 meters for our
Gaelic Football game,
- whether we would have up to 15 people on each team at a time (30 people at a time),
- how much time would be allotted for our game (want 30 minutes a game)

|
The Scoutmaster agreed to secure the materials for the
Irish flag
(three 10 inch by 26 inch strips of cloth; green, white, orange).
|
|
The Scoutmaster agreed to bring these materials to the next troop
meeting (Tuesday, May 3, 2005).
|
|
The PLC agreed that the Irish meal for the Spring Camporee
would consist of
corn beef brisket and
cabbage with
Irish soda bread.
