The Ojibwas District Executives, Clarence Smith and Bob Vergamini, informed the Scoutmaster that Olivet Baptist Church's charter would be with the Mawanjidiwin District. Mr. Vergamini told the Scoutmaster that Charlotte Christian Reformed Church should inform the Chief Okemos Council of their willingness to give up Troop 272's charter. Mr. Vergamini told the Scoutmaster that he would not recommend that Troop 272 attempt to merge with another troop from Holt. Mr. Smith and Mr. Vergamini told the Scoutmaster that Holt is able to support another troop. Mr. Vergamini indicated that Troop 272 should try to establish a troop in Holt to give some healthy competition to the existing two troops in Holt.
