1. We plan to increase our troop membership by 20 %. |
2. According to the BSA document "Advancement Committee Policies and
Procedures", "It is important that the troop committee and the Scoutmaster set an advancement goal for the year. A basic goal should be for each Scout to advance a rank during the year. New Scouts should earn the First Class rank during their first year in the troop. By doing so, these new Scouts become net contributors to the troop and are able to care for themselves and others." We plan to have each new Scout advance to First Class Rank during their first year in the troop. We also plan to have each Scout below the rank of Life advance at least one rank each year. In addition, we plan to have each Life Scout advance to Eagle in 1.5 years. |
3. We plan to work as a troop on 1 Merit Badge every 3 months. |
