In the Fall of 2002, we began to lay the foundations for a new Boy Scouts of America troop. Our program during this season was based on the following plan:

Tentative Calendar for September, 2002 - December, 2002

By December of 2002, our goals were realized, as Troop 272 received its charter from the Chief Okemos Council.

With a lot of hard work, beginning with our Troop Planning Conference on Friday-Saturday, January 10-11, 2003, the Patrol Leaders' Council of Troop 272 did a great job in putting together a plan for 2003. We are thankful that our Troop Committee has granted their approval and full support to this plan.
