WHAT TIME IS IT, MR. FOX?
Equipment: None
Procedure: The leader starts the game by having all of the players lined side by side on one end of the room. The leader is "Mr. Fox" and stands at the other end of the room.
The players ask: "What time is it, Mr. Fox?"
Mr. Fox calls out a time and the players take that many steps forward (ex. Mr. Fox calls out "10 o'clock" and the players take 10 steps forward).
This continues until Mr. Fox says it is "Midnight". At that point the players try to run back to their end of the room without Mr. Fox tagging them.
If Mr. Fox tags any players before they return safely to their end of the room, those players become foxes with him, and go to his end of the room where they will also try to tag players.
The game continues with the players running back to their end of the room each time "Midnight" is called as the time (only the leader calls out the time).
As the players return to their end of the room safely they should stay there until the leader tells them he/she is ready for them to ask the time again.
The game continues until only one player is left. That player gets to start the next game as "Mr. Fox".
