4-WAY TUG OF WAR

(by Michael Robbe and Zach Smith)

Equipment: four 4-foot pieces of rope and four bean bags (or crumpled pieces of paper)

Basic rules: Four pieces of rope are tied together. Four Scouts each grab on to one piece of rope and form a square pattern, with each of these Scouts standing at one of the corners of this square pattern. Four bean bags are placed about 4 feet (or an assigned distance) behind each of these Scouts.

On the count of three, by the SPL (or an assigned Scout), each of the four Scouts tries to walk back towards their bean bag and pick it up.

Every 15 seconds, the bean bags are moved, by some assigned Scouts, 8 inches closer to the center of the rope.

Scoring: The first person to pick up their bean bag wins.
