PICK UP: 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Olivet Baptist Church
ON THIS OUTING WE WILL BE: camping at the Welch's cottage on Lake Huron, off of US-23, between Cheboygan, MI and Rogers City, MI, 45 minutes southwest of Mackinaw City. We plan to swim at the beach at this cottage and conduct field trips to Mackinac Island and other interesting sites in the area.
COST: $80.00. This cost includes travel expenses, meal expenses, and the ticket for the ferry to Mackinac Island. Scouts may wish to have additional spending money for the field trips conducted on this outing.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Wear your Boy Scout shirt. Dress according to the weather. Eat lunch before assembly on Sunday. Bring a sack supper for the trip to the Welch's cottage on Sunday. Bring a pair of water shoes or old tennis shoes to wear at Ocqueoc Falls.
EACH PERSON WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR OWN PERSONAL GEAR AND FOR TAKING CARE OF IT PROPERLY.
