Astronomy 1 6, 9b at camp or start 9a, c, d, e Nature Center Might not be able to finish both 7b & constellations in the same week. Plan for night observations. Recommended for 7th graders and above.
Bird Study 1 7a or do 7b at camp, 8, start 5 & 6 Nature Center Recommended for scouts who have finished 7th grade. Will need to spend time outside of class for 5 & 6. Need binoculars, recommend the Golden Field Guide: Birds of N. America for #4
Environmental Science 2 3e(1) or 3e(2), 4 Nature Center Recommended for Scouts who have finished 7th grade
Fish & Wildlife Conservation 1 5, 7d; or 7a, b, c at camp Nature Center Recommended for 6th graders or above. Scouts will need a fishing pole

Fly Fishing 1 Read Merit Badge Pamphlet Nature Center New to BSA! Recommended for Scouts who have finished 5th grade. Will need a fly rod, reel, and flies.

Cooking 1 5, 6, 7 Outdoor Skills Meets during lunch. Addition time required (may vary for campsite cooking)
Emergency Preparedness 1 1, 8a, b, c Outdoor Skills First Aid Merit Badge is required prior to arriving in camp.
First Aid 1 1, 2b Outdoor Skills Must complete rank advancement related to First Class prior to arriving at camp.
Golf 2 None Activity Field Afternoon out of camp at golf course in addition to MB time.
Hiking Directed Study 5, 6 Outdoor Skills 70 miles can be extremely difficult to complete within a week at camp!
