| Mrs. Lori Zajac, the Cubmaster of Pack 640 in Holt has invited Troop 272
to attend Pack 640's 2005 Blue and Gold Banquet. This event is taking place on the same day as the Eagle Bound Merit Badge Blitz. However, the Merit Badge Blitz is scheduled to finish by 3:00 p.m., whereas the Blue and Gold Banquet doesn't begin until 5:00 p.m. Among other things which are celebrated at a Cub Scout Pack's Blue and Gold Banquet, the Webelos Crossover ceremony is usually celebrated at this event. I have not been informed that any of the graduating Webelos Scouts of Pack 640 are planning on crossing over to Troop 272. I hope, however, that some of these Scouts who joined us at the Fall Camporee at Camp Kiwanis last October will give serious consideration to our troop. Please note that this is not a troop activity, but I do hope that we will have a few people from our troop at this event, to help foster a healthy relationship between our troop and this pack.
