| Troop 272 was organized in the Fall of 2002 chartered from December 1, 2002 until December 31, 2004 plans to renew charter in December of 2003 | |||

| Scouts: SPL Chris Cunningham, ASPL Steven McCarthy, Murphy PL Ethan McCarthy, Michael Hannah, and Aaron Walsh Chris, Steven, and Ethan have all been in Scouting for about six years and helped start Troop 272 in the Fall of 2002. They are all at the rank of Life Scout, the second highest rank of Scouting. They all have only some merit badges and their Eagle Service Projects to complete for the rank of Eagle Scout. Michael joined our troop in the Fall of 2003 and has recently attained the rank of Tenderfoot, the first rank in Scouting. Aaron joined our troop this Spring, crossing over from Pack 700, having earned his Arrow of Light as a Webelos Scout in this pack. | |||
| Scouters: Troop Committee Chairperson Cathy McCarthy, Committee Member Donna Cunningham, Committee Member Tom Trumble, Scoutmaster John D. McCarthy, and Assistant Scoutmaster Gary Cunningham Dr. and Mrs. McCarthy and Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham have been in Scouting for about six years and helped start Troop 272 in the Fall of 2002. They have all served actively in Boy Scout Troops (43, 180, 316, and 272) for the last six years. Mr. Cunningham has been serving at the council level for the last two years. Mr. Trumble has been serving as a Committee Member of Troop 272 since the Fall of 2003. | |||
