Time lag and spatial diffusion together:modeling, nonlinear dynamics, numerics and applications to biologicalinvasion by Jianhong Wu, Professor of Mathematics, Canada Research Chair in Applied Mathematics, York University, Ontario Abstract A short survey will be provided for the recent development inthe theory and applications of reaction diffusion equations with bothretarded arguments and non-local spatial interactions. Models arisingfrom structured populations with spatial dispersal and maturation timewill be discussed, and some new approaches and results for the existenceand stability of traveling waves will be reported together with theirimplication for biological invasion and range expansion. | ||
