Loop-erased Walks and Total Positivity by Sergey Fomin, Professor of Mathematics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor Abstract A real matrix is called totally positive if all its minors are positive. I will discuss total positivity phenomena associated with planar graphs and electric networks, Dirichlet-to-Neumann maps for planar domains, and the two-dimensional Brownian motion. | ||
