  • I was awarded with the College of Natural Science Dissertation Completion Fellowship from Michigan State University for Spring 2019.
  • I was awarded with the College of Natural Science Dissertation Continuation Fellowship from Michigan State University for Summer 2018.
  • In Spring 2017 I won the 2017 TA Award for Excellence in Teaching with the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University.
  • In Spring 2016 I received the Dr. Paul and Wilma Dressel Endowed Scholarship Award for an outstanding graduate student.
  • I was awarded with the College of Natural Science Dissertation Continuation Fellowship from Michigan State University for Summer 2015.
  • From 2010 to 2015 I was a scholarship holder of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.


Service & Volunteering

  • In Spring 2018 I was one of the founding members of the AWM Michigan State University Student Chapter. The official website of the Association for Women in Mathematics can be found here and the Student Chapter website here.
  • I was an organizer of the Student Algebra Seminar at Michigan State University from Fall 2016 until Spring 2018. A list of the seminar talks can be found here.
  • In Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 I served as a Graduate Student Representative in the Graduate Studies Committee of the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University.
  • In January 2017, I was an invited panelist at the 20th Annual Nebraska Conference for Ungeraduate Women in Mathematics at University of Nebraska - Lincoln
  • In Summer 2017 I codesigned and cotaught a 16 day summer course for high school students in Germany at "Deutsche Schülerakademie" with Alexander Ivanov. The course was called "Wie teilt man einen Punkt durch 2? - Elliptische Kurven in Algebra und Geometrie".
  • In Summer 2016 I codesigned and cotaught a 16 day summer course for high school students at the "Deutsche Schülerakademie" with Alexander Ivanov. The course was called "Von Tassen, Brezeln und deren algebraischen Invarianten" and was held in Grovesmuehle, Germany.
  • In Spring 2016 I was the Graduate Student Representative for the Department of Mathematics at the Natural Science Student Advisory Council at Michigan State University.
