Subject to availability of funding, there will be partial support, on a competitive basis, for participating graduatestudents and postdocs. The support will cover up to $250 of the expenses incurred. The participatinggraduate students and postdocs who are presenting posters will have priority to get the partial support.

To apply for support, prospective students and postdocs must:

• Submit a description of their research, not to exceed one page (single spaced, 12 point font))
• request that a letter of reference be submitted on their behalf.

Both the letter and project description should be submitted via email to richardl@math.msu.edu with the subject line "MCIAM workshop request for support for FIRST AND LAST NAME". Applications are due by September 5th and notification of support will be given on September 14th.
